Yes, actually Dr. Fleshner did Laperotomy with extensive revision of a previous anastomosis, did an adhesiolysis inside the small intestine, did an abdominal adhesiolysis and used a very large amount of barrior. He told me which barrior he used, but the name of it has escaped me at the moment. It was one of the more commonly used ones. When I asked him about the SprayGel in the pre-op visit, he hadn't yet read any studies on it, so I gave him some print outs of the computer based information. Since I've done so marvelously since 12/05, I haven't had the occasion to return and discuss barrior use more with him. I guess the nearly 2 1/2 year success is great proof of how well he must have done. I don't have nausea/pain/ileus/obstruction/etc. since!!! In fact, I've had SOOOO much fun eating that I gained 50 pounds and now am on a diet! Sheesh! I sure wouldn't trade this for the way I lost weight before, though...duh. Reba
