Yes, I have used Castor Oil packs for years. I add a few drops of Clary Sage and Geranium essential oils to the Castor Oil. I used the poltices for post surgical pain, to soften surgical incision scars, for adhesion pain and had good results. I kept the soaked cloth in a plastic bag in the frige and used it over and over for weeks.

It helps.

Use top grade essential oils - like Aromaland, Aroma Vera, or Young Living. I think the Aromaland prices are the best and I know that their oils are top, top quality. The addition of the Clary Sage particularly helps with adhesion pain. Castor and Clary Sage oils are thought to soften scar tissue inside the abdomin even though applied topically.

At the very least, you will have very, very soft and happy skin!
