In 1994 I had peritonitis where my appendix had burst. The doctors then removed as much as they could and that was that. In 2000 I was admitted to hospital with bad pelvic pain where the doctor told me I had ovarian cysts so I had the mirena coil fitted but every few months after that I was returning with the same pain. This went on for years untill Feb 2007 My G.P said that it could be Pelvic Inflammatory Infection so I was treated for that. Next month I was back in hospital again with the same pain and another doctor gave me different tablets for PID AGAIN and guess what, the next month another doc did the same thing untill my G.P booked me in for a Laparoscopy{camera in the abdomen/pelvic area). To the consultants suprise I had adhesions between my intestines and my womb and tubes. I was then told that the adhesions had damaged my tubes and that I couldn't conceive children naturally because of it. I am now on the waiting list for IVF. I am only 22.
