Amitriptyline is a good medicine but may not help severe pain in some people. Some times with adhesion pain, you have to go to the narcotic relief. No one likes to take narcotics, I fought it but it is the only thing that can relieve the pain.

Roger,

I had continuous stomach pain from Jan. to June 2005. The stomach pain began the day after surgery (aortic valve replacement). After 5 trips to the first gastroenterologist and a few tests and many perscriptions, the pain continued.
