Michele, I didn't know I had adhesions until an emergency appendectomy and bowel resection 2 years ago, I had pain previous to this, but never asked why..Anyway, I developed more adhesions by 3 months, lived with those for another year, had an ovary and tube wrapped up and attached to my pelvic wall, surgery to remove and had adhesions again in 2 weeks, laparoscopic surgery this time. Am now wondering what to do next.
I am considering another lap, or possibly a pain management clinic. I have been holding off on surgery because of the very real possibility of more adhesions and more pain, but know that I connot continue like I am.
Please take care of yourself and be proactive in finding a doctor who believes you. Has your Dr. checked for infection? Nancy
