To Have Surgery or Not to Have Surgery - Advice Needed

My name is Jawana Coleman and I have been suffering
from Endo and ARD for several years. I am 37 but
feel 70. I am trying to gather opinions on a question -
here it is: After several surgeries for adhesions
and endo, the gastro dr. told me not to have any
more surgery unless it was life threatening. My
Gyne Dr. though wants to perform surgery again.
He says that the endo has gotten so bad again
that it has to be removed.
I have been told and read that surgeries just
make the adhesions worse.
My Dr swears that they come back a little less
each time and that endo is the most threatening
problem as it will create more scar tissue. Do
you have an opinion about whether an ARD sufferer
should have surgery for endo?
