I am a surgery scheduler for OB/GYN doctors. I have scheduled many Nova-Sure procedures. I usually tell the patients that there may be a little discomfort that evening and the next day. But Darvocet and sometimes Vicodin will help. There is a really good brochure on Nova-Sure and how it works and even problems they may arise.

Please read it and ask LOTS of questions to your OB/GYN. The truth is that we have found this procedure to be very beneficial to our patients. It practically takes the place of a hysterecotmy. Remember each patient is diferent and each person tolerates pain differently.

So don't be afraid to check into it and again ask alot of questions about any procedure you are thinking about having. The less invasive the better.
