Dear Tara,
I know what you are going through. With my last pregnancy (17 years
ago) I had cramping and spotting for 8 months, they never could find
anything wrong. I think now that it was adhesions. I got adhesions
from my 1st c-section in 83. When I had my last c-section, I heard the
Dr say there were a lot of adhesions, I didn't really know what that
meant until much later. Since you have a problem with adhesions, my
first advice would be not to have another pregnancy because of the
c-sections. Second, find an adhesion specialist. It is usually ok to
take mild narcotics during pregnancy, I wouldn't, but some do. Since I
battled adhesions for so many years, I truly understand. I ended up
having tons of surgeries because of them. I went to Germany last summer
& had surgery there with Spray Gel. It is still not FDA approved in the
US, but there it has already been through trial and some Drs are
approved to use it. I now have a life free of adhesions and the pain
& problems they cause.
