I just went through this same experience and I just had surgery after years of not knowing what was causing the pain right and left pelvic area radiating to me belly button. It was a combination of endometriosis and adhesions. They removed both ovaries and the adheshions that had my vagina adhesed to my rectum. Now four weeks later this is the best month I have had in years. I can stretch without being in pain. Your best bet is to go to WebMD.com look up your symtoms and go to the doctor already knowing what is more than likely wrong with you and demand help. I have and HMO and I am happy with the treatment of Doctor Kurt Ludwig of Mount Clemens Michigan. He did put intercede in to prevent the reacurance of the adheshions, but who knows until some time goes by if that is going to work for me. Right now is what counts and to not be in pain for awhile atleast. I hope my story can help you in some way. Sincerely, Shay
