17 surgeries in 4 years in absolutely nuts. Can't you see that the surgeries are NOT working, they are only making things worse?? You need to STOP having surgeries, and find a good pain management doctor now! Why on earth would you say daily pain management is out of the question? It appears to be 1 of your only choices right now. If you keep having surgeries, you will end up having everything tied up so badly that they will stop functioning. I think everyone will agree that you have had way too many surgeries, and obviously none of them have done you any good. Why you would contemplate having even another for 6-9 months relief (with my calculations of 17 into 4 you're not getting even close to 6 months of relief). You need to STOP HAVING SURGERIES.
