Colleen, I'd find a new MD pronto. IBS has become a diagnosis of convenience and with your history, adhesions are a real possibility. The new medication for IBS can make things WORSE if you have adhesions!!!

Good luck and thanks for your email too! Let me know what happens at the adhesion clinic. I've never heard of a clinic that deals just with adhesions so I am really curious!
