This is good news! It is so refreshing to hear that a doctor actually sent you to a specialist feeling that he could do a better job for you than he could. That sounds like a caring doctor, versus some of those out there that feel that they can do it all.
I would attempt to contact Dr. Reich's staff in regards to scheduling the surgery. Also, FYI - from what I hear Dr Reich does not accept insurance, so his services may have to be paid for in cash. You may wish to double check this with his staff. Dr. Gerhardt I believe accepts insurance.
