I can't thank all of you enough for the e-mails, support, advice and
kind expressions I've received. I am sorry there are so many of us out
there dealing with these problems. I have learned so much about
adhesions, dealing with adhesions, the do's and don'ts, and things to
avoid that I feel like I am going to go into my oncologists office
Friday as prepared as I can be to take whatever he has to say. I
originally planned to leave it in his hands as far as how to proceed but
I am truly leaning toward NOT having the complete hysterectomy but just
having the endometrioma removed from the ovary along with as many
adhesions as possible and using an adhesion preventative. I honestly
feel in my heart that this is the way to go unless the doc can show me
some sort of hard evidence as to why a hysterectomy would be the better
approach.
I will post a message after my appointment Friday to let you know the
plan of attack. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
