Ask your doctor about having physical therapy. Make sure the therapist is a specialist in the field of adhesions. Trust me they are out there. I live in Michigan and have found one in Waterford. I have been with her for 4 weeks and have already noticed the difference. She says that the success rate of what she does is usually permanant. I guess it may depend on if you have a bowel obstruction or not (as I do) but as I said, I have already noticed the difference. My insurance is covering it. Some insurances cover it differently, but fortunately mine is unlimited. I have had 6 abdominal surgeries and I do not want anymore, so I feel it is worth trying. Good luck and God bless you.
