Oxycotin doesn't make me constipated but then cherries never gave me the runs either! I'm not a good person to ask, my body rarely goes by the book. But if you are concerned then eat foods with fiber every day, like raisin bran and apple sauce. Sorry that's the best I can say on that one, oh and hot baths it you feel like you need to get it moving and can't, that might help too.

Does the oxycontin make you constipated. I tried lots of pain pills after my husterectomy and was terribly constipated even taking colace and milk of magnesia, etc. It's like my colon stopped working or went into shock after the surgery. Now it works but it's like a sore muscle.
