I am having a terrilbe time with my mother who is 83 years old. In May she was rushed to the hospital throwing up and diareah after eating Fried Chicken. After taking numerous tests they found a total obstruction of the small intestines and did an emergency surgury. Well here it is Oct 12th and she is still throwing up and having diareah. They suspect she is partially obstructed again and want to operate. She is very weak and hasn't eaten much since her 1st operation in May. I am really at a loss of what to do. I know if I let them operate she could die and it may not help the problem and could just cause more scar tissue. If I don't let them do it she may never eat again. Can you shed any light on this problem. I am truely at a loss.

Carol
