Kay, I feel you should take your grandmother to the ER as well. That is pretty serious. Especially if she is running a temperature as well. That is usually a definite sign of bowel obstruction. I would not worry about what your other family members think...you could possibly save her life. I know I am not a doctor either but we all know that is not " normal". Kelly Marlow

If she is vomitting fecal matter, from what I have read, it can be a sign of an intestinal obstruction and is life threatening.
