After the hysterectomy, I had horrible cramps and diarrhea, constipation etc. IBS is all I heard. When he went in to remove the cyst (just four months after my hysterectomy), he had to cut down adhesions that had my intestines stuck to my abdominal wall just to get to my ovary.
Hysterectomy does NOT cure adhesions. I think it contributes to them - or did in my case.
