Dear Cherryl, Dr. Wiseman (who is not an MD but a PHD)can be emailed at
Synechion@aol.com and to research pain go back into the emails of this
month or previous months and just scrool down until you read headings
about pain control. Helen Dynda frequently will give the email address
relating to laws on pain control or how to approach a doctor with the
right words to convince him you should not have to live in agony when
there might be a medication that will help you. You can also enter
"pain control" in the search box and see what happens. Going on opiates
is a major decision, and going off from them if you have been taking them
for pain is quite possible. I've been on them and gone off. It wasn't fun
to stop, but I didn't want the pills anymore. When you're not in pain,
you find yourself not wanting to take pain pills. I believe this is true
for most people. I do however, also know that there are some people who have
an addictive personality and who should be careful. Good luck, With kindest
regards, Sally
