Dear Cherryl, You do not have to put up with such misery.
Nor do you have to "Go home and live with it" I hate that
phrase. The doctors should have the rubber bands that you
use to castrate sheep administered in the right place and
then be told that. Perhaps that would make them understand.
Losing weight and having a low grade fever and such pain are
also not good signs. You need to go to a different doctor.
Please research this site throughly. There are many past
emails that can help you with pain control. You have the right
to be involved in your pain control decisions. You should also
know that you can get medicines that do not have tylenol which
as you know is bad for your liver. Perhaps Dr. Wiseman at this
site could refer you to pain management support and a good doctor
in your area. I went to counseling when I had my killer adhesions.
It actually helped. It didn't help the pain, but it helped me deal
with all the idiots who didn't understand. As you probably know if
you have been reading this board there are a handful of true adhesion
doctors. They can remove your adhesions and hopefully you won't get
them back. Spraygel, a new barrier seems to be working very well. If you
want to go this route, please read my previous email reply or email me
personally. Good luck. With kindest regards,Sally Grigg
