I e-mailed one of the groups that were doing the clinical trial for
Spray Gel. I was inquiring about joining the clinical trial. I just
received an e-mail back telling me that the trial was completed, but
that Spray Gel is unlikely to be introduced in the U.S. for at least 2
years. To me this is disappointing because I was hoping to hold out
until some new strategy was introduced to deal with the adhesions. My
last surgery was 2 1/2 years ago (I have had 5 surgeries)and I know that
there is another in my future. I have also heard that Intergel has been
pulled off of the market. It seems like ARD isn't a high priority of
the FDA.
