Dear Caroline,

Welcome to our family. Everyone here can relate to what you are going through. We have all felt hopeless and alone dealing with adhesions and the problems that come with them. But know that you are not alone. There are wonderful people on this site who truly care and understand where you are coming from. They also help you as much as they can to educate you on ARD (adhesion related disease). Many of us have been from one doctor to the next searching for answers and help. My gyn just quit his practice at only 43 years of age, so I have been searching for a new doctor with no luck at all. I do have a wonderful pain management doctor. Have you thought about seeing one of them? It really helps when your pain is being managed. You don't feel as helpless. The wonderful people on this site will be a support to you as well. I have gained more strength and learned so much from this site than I could have gotten any where else. I know they will be a support for you as well. Some of us here have had multiple surgeries. I have had 8 and am in need of another. So if you need to know anything, then any of us would love to help. Email me any time. We all get depressed here from time to time. I believe it is the support here that really helps pull me out. If you can get your pain managed then that will also help with the depression. If there is anything else that you need, let me know. Enjoy those babies of yours. They grow up really fast.

Love and hugs, Jenny
