Spray Gel is still in trials as far as I know. I tried to get into the trials, but one was for women with ovaries, and one was for women that still had periods. I have had a total hysterectomy 8 years ago, so I did not qualify for the trials. I think Spray Gel is 1-2 years away from being available in the USA. Then it might have limited uses. Intergel was FDA aproved, but only for open abdominal, gyn surgeries. Since I don't have any "women" parts, I would not qualify in the USA for a surgery with the intergel. I did have Intergel used laprascopically in Duisburg, Germany in Nov 2000. It worked pretty good for me with out any side effects. I came home knowing I would have 15-30% reformation, which, I did. 8 months later, I was in sever pain again. I later had Seprafilm used (open abdominal) which only gave me 2 weeks adhesion pain free. I am saving my money to return to DR Korell in Duisburg. The gas has never given me any problems and I know the DR. He is totally wonderful! My Drs are working on trying to get my insurance to pay for it for humanitarian reasons, but, I am not sure it will work, but I am hoping & praying it will. Best Wishes, robin M
