I'm very happy to be here (((Cindy))). Thank you so much for your warm
welcome. I am in my 5th week of recovery from laparotomy, adhesiolysis, BSO,
Intergel placement. Before my hysterectomy in 2001 I had never heard of
adhesions. Sorry to say I had to hear about it long after the pain hit.
It's a shame we are not warned of this before having gynecological,
abdominal, pelvic surgeries. But, thanks to the caring people on this board
and Dr. Wiseman I know this is changing.
I have gleaned so much wonderful information here...am just really hoping
that my problems with adhesions are over and I can move on with my life. I
will be going back to work on Monday, but I will most certainly continue to
check in here.
