I cried after reading your replies. It felt to know that their are others that truly understand. Last night I broke down and went to the ER. I wish I had stayed home in pain. The Dr acted like I was burden and refused to answer any questions. She gave me Nuban for the pain but nfortunatly this med does not work on my pain and the amount she gave did not put a dent in it. It amazes me that anyone could look at my records and not see that my tolerance to pain med is higher then the average person. I was scared to ask for anything else because I knew I would hear the drug seeker speak and I couldn't bear that. Well she took a x ray and a cat scan told me both were fine and sent me home with a script for more Vicodin. I DON"T WANT MEDS I WANT ANSWERS!!!.
To answer the other questions I had a total LAVH on 2/14/01 and had to follow up laps for adhesion removal that same year. Since then I have tried to live with the pain and even saw a pain Dr. to no relief. Oxycotin dd not help and the pain doc got discouraged. My husband tries but everytime I say I'm hurting he gets mad at me. he tells me he knows there is nothing I can do about it but he's sick of it ( like I'm not). My children are 13,7 and 5 and the two older ones make me feel guilty. My mother is the worse. She has gone through some med issues of her on and feels that I should be able to take a Advil and keep moving. I don't even talk to friends about it anymore. My appointment with a new Gyn is on the 27th and I am praying that she will be hepful and be willing to do another Lap. with barrier. Well thank oou for letting me vent.
