Dear Maya,

Please know that you are NOT alone. Until November 2002, I thought that I too, was all alone with these adhesions. Then I found this site and have a second family here. We all help each other and are there for each other. You have come to the right place. I, too, was sent home by many doctors saying that "it was all in my head" or " I was drug-seeking" or the worst excuse yet..."you are depressed...must be your time of the month". Doctors can be so mean and degrading, but there is hope as I have found. Don't shy away from us...you are not alone. We want to help you and ease your pain anyway we can.

I am not a doctor, but I'd say that you need to see one for that kind of pain. Masking it up with pain killers is not getting to the problem. I'm glad that you have the vicodin, but you need to find out what's causing it. Are you constipated? Do you have your ovaries? These are all questions that a doctor needs to ask you.

Keep us posted on your current situation and know that we are praying for you. This site is strong and we stick together ....even if you jsut want to vent about your family not being there for you....we listen and will help any way that we can. I can say that with conviction, everyone has been here for me!

A new friend, Tonya
