Lack of Oklahoma specialist

With two large medical schools and multiple residency programs I would think that we would have more specialist in endo and adhesions in Oklahoma. I have been interviewing providers that say they treat endometriosis but so far have found that they are really treating infertility and all seem to have the idea that once a hysterectomy has been performed the endo and adhesions dissapear. What other types of specialist has anyone had luck with besides the ob/gyn's?

With the physical and chemical effects of endometriosis I have found it difficult to find a provider that can treat the physical pain of adhesions in multiple locations. Since hysterctomy gyn doesn't feel like it is their area. Gastroenterologist and proctologist do not feel it is their area since pain is caused outside of the organs Endocrinologist in this area seem to be limited to diabetes treatment and the other endocrine and autoimmune disorders that seem to occur in high numbers to endometriosis patients are not their specialty.

Has anyone heard of a new Dr that actually treats this stuff in this part of the country? Makes me wonder what it would take to recruit one here :)
