'Dr.' Moore's proctological opinions

Well here is my proof that "Dr" Moore is a fake. His horror at the
instructions for disimpacting yourself. I mean, c'mon... If he were a
REAL ob then he would have done lots of c-sections. (A few of them
would probably even been necessary.) And the odds being what they are,
if he did lots of c-sections then he would have some infected incisions,
since infected incisions are a pretty common complication of c-sections.
And so he would have already perfected the following very important
"medical" procedure. (Very important when it comes to not getting sued,
that is.) The one where the doc stands there and with an absolutely
casual manner explains to the new father that he will be pulling 50 feet
of putrid pus-soaked gauze out of his wife's open, draining wound. And
then using a stick to shove a fresh 50 feet of gauze in to her open,
draining wound. Twice a day. For the next couple of months. All the
while the doc maintains an utterly blase, casual manner that this is so
utterly TRIVIAL a thing (and of course so trivial that it did not
deserve the slightest whiff of a mention when the doc acquired
"informed" consent from the patient for her c-section.)
Disimpacting somebody is fairly routine nursing care. Just like packing
a wound. Or figuring out how a 2-month-old in a body cast would not
have her skin eaten away by poop and pee. (But that last one is
entirely another story...) The one thing that REAL doctors have in
common is their absolute belief that anything which falls under the
domain of nursing care is utterly trivial and beneath their contempt and
can be done by ANYBODY at all with an IQ larger than a box of rocks...
No, you can divide the REAL doctors into 2 groups: the ones who would
give you instructions on disimpacting yourself (or even better, have
their nurse explain it to you) and the group that tells you to do it but
expects you to figure out how on your own!
