Dear Dr. Moore, Before you tell people to go home and live with an
incredibly agonizing, life threatening condition , please do more research.
For those of us who have suffered in extreme pain for years and have
continual bowel blockages, there is no choice but to have surgery. I would
never have "unnecessary" surgery. In fact most of us oldtimers here on
this board acknowledge that "unnecessary" surgery is not good for adhesion
prone people. But we are talking about getting our lives back- living
instead of dying. I hate to give a doctor advice (LOL) but you really need to
study more. Surgery can correct what other surgery has damaged if done by
the right laproscopic surgeons who spend hours going around each organ with
meticulous care, with no use of gas (carbon dioxide), and with the new barrier,
spray gel. And yes, I realize the other barriers have been mainly ineffective.
That is why the company, Confluent has produced spray gel. I personally think they
have a winner this time. It is already approved throughout Europe and Australia.
Please don't decrease other's hopes based on your own lack of knowledge.
I have been to Ecuador and have seen a real life "snake oil" salesman. Believe me, he
was funny. He offered to sell the oil to put hair on your head and at the same time
remove it from your body. I am actually a skeptic. Perhaps you should contact Dr. Reich or
Dr. Kruschinski and let them explain how they are savings lives. Please do not
tell people to "Go home and live with it" Adhesions can kill people. I have my
life back and I'm not kidding. Educate yourself. I know what you were taught in
medical school and times change and schools can be out of date. Please care enough
to gain further knowledge. No, I'm not saying that this new method will cure
everyone, but if it cures many or most or some, that is their right to try. With kindest
regards and in hopes that you will begin to understand our dilemma and acknowledge
our right to seek care where it is given, by trained medical professionals with
good academic credentials and years of experience (even if it is in Germany ie. Dr. Kruschinski).
Perhaps you could attend a training symposium. Dr. Kruschinski attends them frequently
all around the world as a guest lecturer. I'm not trying to be flippant, this is more
real to we who have suffered than you can possibly imagine. Once again, I am not a
doctor, just someone well educated, with a business, a family, a life, a mind, and a body
that suffered through years of adhesion agony. Sincerely, Sally Grigg (alive and well now
thanks to Dr. Kruschinski)
