Dear Robin,

I am experiencing multiple problems with my periods. I bleed so often and the pain is unmanagable that the doctors think the only hope for me is to have a parial hysterectomy. But after reading about what it can do with my adhesions, I have decided not to have it just yet. I also have adhesions on my ovaries and around my bladder and uterus as well as many other places...liver, intestines, etc. I cramp so bad and then the adhesions start hurting even more. I just can't take the pain anymore.

The only meds that I'm on right now is vicodin and darvocet and percocet. I also take ibuprphen like it's going out of style. Nothing seems to work anymore.

I have lots of questions about a pain clinic. What do they do for you there? Will they find the right combination of meds to help me? I have a little boy that's 5 and my fiance has two children that live with us. I worry about taking too much medicine simply because I need to be a "mom" and to function. But the truth is that I'm no good when I'm in pain. All I can do is lay in a ball and cry. Have you ever felt like this?

It's good to hear from you and to know that I'm not alone. I'll keep you informed ....I go to the pain clinic Jan. 8th.

Love, Tonya
