I have been on Duragesic patch for some time & on previous occasions. Recently I started having irritation at the site where patches were worn. My Dr gave me a allergy nasal spray Nasacort AQ. I spray it on prior to applying patch, wait for it to dry & then put the patch on. I does work wonders. If you have irritation, you should talk to your Dr about it. If the Dr doesnt recomend something like this, sujest it. It is easy to use & works great! I am currently on Duragesic 75, MS Contin 60mg, Vicodin 10mg, Paxil& Buspar (for depression & anxiety/panic attacks). robin M
