Dearest Julie I believe a second opinion would be the right thing if you are at all aprehensive. Having a Hyst. is a BIG step and you cannot take it back. Where do you live?? Perhaps someone knows of a place where they take a minimaly invasive approach. It would be a good foil to seek a second opinion of a doc like this to help you better understand the ramifications of your dission(God I wish there was a spell checker here). My personal experience was my doctor and I decided that hyst would be difinative CURE for my endometriosis. Well it did not cure mine. It is a common misconception docs have about my particular disease. Well for me things are much worse after the HYST. Do your home work on your condition. The internet is just loaded now with most of the info you may need to help you make this discission. It ( the hyst) may be the best answer for you. Love, Dawn At Wed, 13 Nov 2002, anonymous wrote: >
