Hi Julie, i just got back from my doctor with excessive bleeding problems when i menstruate and he suggested a procedure called ablation, in which basically they scoop out the lining of your uterus which reduces stops bleeding all together in about 70% of patients and in 25% it reduces the bleeding dramatically and in 5% of the patients it did nothing. But this procedure may help u as well and it isnt nearly as invasive or drastic as a hysterectomy. Doesnt hurt to ask.
