Toni, I am about to go the same 'route' as you are. Tomorrow I'm having another pelvic/abdominal CT scan with the contrast. This is the worst episode I have had. What little stool that does move, is loose. And I can hardly pass gas. I have had run-ins with rude Drs., also. They've told me I'm mental, & etc. I have been told that many surgeons won't cut you, unless of a complete blockage, as the more they cut, the more adhesions we get. I just don't know how much more I can take. Millie.

colonoscopy's since July, and I found them to be unbearable and humiliating. I went under a form of anastesia for the last one,my doctor called it MAC anastesia. It dosent require a breathing tube or anything like that. They just put in an IV,and administer anastesia through the IV. You sleep through the whole thing, and it's easy to wake up from. Maybe this will help you,and anyone else who is afraid to have to have this procedure. > >>
