Toni, You have a right to ask for a lap, if you wish. I also had a TAH/LSO, almost 2 years ago. I had 2 abdominal/pelvic CT scans earlier this year. Every test I've had since the hyst is labeled "essentially negative." I am thinking about requesting another one, but too many aren't good for you, and the price is outrageous.

For the past week I am not feeling so good. I have a steady heavy, full pressure in lower abdomen and pelvis, as well as some loose stools. I am terrified and very depressed over the whole business. I am terrified of having another colonoscopy. I had one over a year ago. And I am sure most of the problem is adhesions. I don't know which type of Dr. to see, as I feel the ones I went to let me down... badly. Just be very careful of too many surgeries, which if carelessly performed, will cause even more adhesions. Millie.
