Dear sweet Cherryl,

Honey, I know EXACTLY where you are coming from and why you are feeling so confused! As it happens, going through the archives will reveal so many stories similar to yours. When adhesions are the primary cause of bowel not working right, or bladder whatever, tests that "look inside" that organ will always show a negative result!!

I bet the doc gave you a diagnosis of IBS too! Look at it this way Cherryl, the test revealed that your bowel, on the inside, is sound! Terrific! So the next step is to continue to question your doctors and insist that they find out why you are experiencing debilitating pain and discomfort.

I have been down this road too Cherryl, and after my last colonoscopy the surgeon tried to label my problem as IBS.... *cough* I soon set him straight on that one! LOL

I would like to invite you to have a look at the digestive info on bombobeach.com. There is some great information about how the digestive system works, Laxative abuse and also information on IBS.

It's always best to educate yourself about all the possibilities and makes it easier to converse with your doctor and discover the best course of action for you.

Best of luck, Love & warm gentle hugs, Jo
