Hello to all my friends here on the adhesions board....

September's issue of the Aussie support group newsletter is now available!!

I have a problem with my mailing list...the laptop isn't cooperating at all!! Grrr so I can't send it out to you individually...so can you please visit http://www.bombobeach.com look for the newsletter link on the left side menu bar and you will then be able to access the September issue in acrobat format.

If you can't access it that way, write to me at: admin@bombobeach.com and write in the subject line only NEWSLETTER REQUEST I will then send the newsletter with a return email :-)

Anthea Nesbitt from Ohio has a great idea to help us make a coordinated effort to get the message out to the general public about adhesions, take a look and see how you can help too!

Thank you, to Nancy Hale from Canada - who brought "Chronic, Invisible Illness Week," to our attention for September 23rd to 29th. Members asked if we could adopt the week in our respective countries.

Anthea will coordinate activities in USA, Nancy in USA and Annie Hawksley & I are looking after Australia. If anyone from other countries are interested, please refer to the newsletter for details.

I continue to be ADHESIONS PAIN FREE following my surgery on August 1 and application of SprayGel, but still have problems with my bladder and bowel... adhesions sticking them down for too long I guess. I see Jason for a follow-up visit next Monday...I will keep you all posted. (My story can be accessed from the bombo homepage)

The newsletter also contains tips to help you communicate your pain better to your medical health professionals. Annie Hawksley has written an article about how she treats her bowel "like a baby".... very interesting and detailed story. All my love and warm gentle hugs to all of you on this saddest of anniversaries.... God Bless all of you....
