Hi Deb, Were you ever pain free after your last surgery? I just had surgery July 29 to remove adhesions in my right upper quadrant. I had my gall bladder removed 3/22/00 & I've been in pain ever since. My Dr. said my pancreas was attached to my colon & intestines with adhesions. He also asked me when I had broken my ribs (3). I don't remember breaking my ribs, it's really weird, to think I broke them & can't remember injuring them. Anyway I'm still in pain & it feels like the same pain I had before surgery. My employer called yesterday wanting to know when I was returning to work, they didn't bother to call & ask how I was after surgery. So that really upset me. I really empathize with you. I've been to Dr. after Dr. looking for pain relief but I still haven't found anything except anesthesia to rid me of the pain. I was praying this surgery would be my answer. So many people warned me not to have it but I was more or less backed into a corner. I know I won't have another one until I can have it done with Spraygel. My Dr. used Seprafilm but I don't think it did any good. Sorry I couldn't help you but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. Most of my story is on the Adhesion Quilt.
