Dear Helen, Can you explain why this only happen during the vertical incision & not the bikini incision? How soon would the entraped nerves take to cause pain? Most of my surgeries were bikini cut, but my last one, Aug 2001, was the verticalincision. Do the intraped nerves only cause pain at the bottom of the incision or can it also cause pain at the top, or anywhere along the incision? I am not having any pain along my vertical incision, but it sounds interesting as well as painfull. robin M
