Hi Chantale,
I hope I'm understanding your email correctly. If you're talking about
having part of your bowels out that's called a bowel resection. I've had
that done with this latest surgery in Scranton, PA with Dr. Redan and Dr.
Reich.
I also had a resection in 2 other of my surgeries.....hmm I think 2, it could
be 3....anyway....the recovery time depends on you I think. I'm feeling ok
since the surgery -still those surgery owchies, but really - with my bowel
being resected it's not too bad. My first bowel movement was a bit of a
pain, but with each day passing - my BM's aren't as bad as they are. To tell
you the truth, I can't tell that I did have my bowels resected.
