Hi, Flick, Men are welcome here, also. There is a man from this site who has had adhesions, and surgeries, and is supposed to be support for men, also. If you look on the IAS site, there should be a place that tells you about support for men. His name is Jim Lynch. Any time you have surgery, you can get adhesions, and there is no 100% cure for them. I take Lorazepam, 1mg. I try to wait til night to take it, as otherwise, I fall asleep, which isn't good if I'm driving. But I need the sedative, especially since my TAH, almost 16 months ago. At times I get extremely angry... other times I totally lose it, which can be embarrassing in public. My adhesions are back, I know that. I only pray I don't have to be cut up again. I know the TAH ruined my life, too. They never tell you the drawbacks of certain surgeries, and when you do find out... There are extremely few surgeons I'd even think of coming near me with a ten foot pole with a 20 foot extension. Millie.
