Yes I experience a lot of leg pain due to adhesions. The pain has increased as my pain has increased over the last two years.
After my surgery last month, my surgeon told me that I still have major blood vessels and nerved encased in adhesions like "cement" and that they stopped before getting to that area due to my vital signs indicating I had enough surgery for one day ;-)
I often need heat packs on my legs, and I can gauge how much pain I am in, by how far down my legs the pain goes....when it gets to my knees, it feels like they become ballons full of hot heavy lead or something.....if my pain is much worse then the pain goes all the way down to my ankles and only heavy doses of pain meds help...no amount of pain therapy or diversional therapies will help.
So Robyn, nope you aren't going crazy, the pain can and does travel down my legs anyway....and my doctor believed me before he saw the evidence of it doring surgery.....
Hope this helps Robyn!
