A couple of months ago somebody posted about the flaxseeds, toasted and ground up, which she said are not only yummy, but the fiber from the seeds gave a real boost to the laxitive effect of the flax oil.

Another thing is that flax seed oil is a very rich source of DHA which is a fatty acid important in brain functioning. It seems to be very effective at "boosting" the treatments of both depression and anxiety. Researchers theorize that if you have plenty of DHA then your brain just works better. When your brain spends a lot of its energy and chemicals moving pain signals around, it can really use the help of some more neurotransmitters for just keeping itself working.
