Mildred, an 87-yr-old recent widow was extremely depressed. One day
while cleaning she found her late husband's old revolver, and she
decided that she was going to end it all with a shot through her heart,
since that was the part of her that felt so bad. She didn't want to
make any mistakes, though, by missing -- she wanted a straight shot to
the heart. So she called the doctor's office and talked to the nurse,
asking "just exactly where is the heart located?" The nurse told her,
"Directly below your left breast, dearie."
Mildred was admitted to the ER later that evening with a gunshot wound
to the left knee.
