I too was denied by Unum Insurance for long term disability and have suffered
greatly because of this, its been almost 10 years and I urge anyone that has
been denied to file a lawsuit for their rights!!  I was awarded Social Security
Disability, but that wasn't good enough for Unum, and then they told me if I
made waves they would contact Social Security and make problems for me.
