When I worked in downtown Chicago there was a garbage truck whose route
was timed so that it would frequently be passing by as I waited to cross
the street and go into the building. It was a private waste hauler, and
the truck was new with a gleaming coat of paint. On the side, painted
in a nice script lettering, it said "Purveyers of fine used foods and
exotic salads"
