Dear Kimberly,

Welcome to the board!  I was very sad to read that you have endured 28 surgeries in seven years!  That is at least 4 surgeries per year!  Good Heaven's what caused you to have so many surgeries?  I have to say that must be very distressing for you to have gone through so much.

Why are you saying you "need" another surgery?  Is it to remove adhesions that are causing you pain?  Kimberly, I hope you will post another message and leave us with some more information so that we can offer you better advice.  Just keep in mind we are not doctors or in the medical field, just fellow adhesions sufferers trying to help each other with friendship, support and understanding.

Please write to us again soon, I would really like to offer you more specific advice especially since you are seeking yet another surgery!  Please visit my website: www.bombobeach.com and read my story and Karla's, then look at all the stories on the adhesions quilt found on the menu bar across the top of the page.  Is surgery really going to help you?  If these surgeries have been mostly because of adhesions, then perhaps it is best you stop seeking additional surgery and think about pain management for a while, at least allow your body some time to recover from such a gruelling schedule of surgeries.

I will keep looking for your next post.... I would really like to know why you have had so many surgeries.

Love & gentle hugs,

Jo www.bombobeach.com
