One of the Problems with the Oxycontin is that people that are illegal-drug users like to get it and get high with it. I was told by my doctor that if you are on it, not to tell people because it is a good drug to the abuser and they will steal it from you. They can break it down and shoot it. On the other hand, I work in Teen Drug Court and I haven't seen to many kids that are on it. The counselors that I work with have not had too many people using it. I have been on it for about a month and either my pain has gotton worse or I have built up a tolerance to it as my pain level has gotton worse. I like it as I don't feel like I am "doped up" and I can function clearly. What really bothers me is that there is an attorneys name listed at the bottom of the email. This person needs to be gradually taken from them, not listing some as-----attorney at the bottom. So many people get relief from this drug and things like this just make it harder for the chronic pain people to get some treatment. Just had to vent as our right to recieve enough medication for pain relief without things like this. Dolores in Louisiana
