I'm relieved to hear that they have the drug-pregnancy thing under control. Both morphine and methadone are very old drugs so if they tell you that those 2 a reasonably safe then you can be pretty confident that there are lots of pregnant women who've taken one or the other over the last century so they really *know*. As opposed to "Don't worry, there have been no reported problems with this drug being taken by pregnant women...oh, and by the way this drug was just released last Thursday and you're the first pregnant woman who has ever taken it..."

Will they do an ultrasound this early to confirm your due date? It's probably not a bad idea since you are not 100% sure that your last period was a "real" period. I don't know what it's like there. Here in the US it seems that every obstetrician has an ultrasound machine in the office and they just roll it down the hall and take a look-see for no other reason than that they are curious and they think it's cool to look at the baby.
