To my dear friend Bonnie,

I've read your email a couple of times, then I rang my hubby who is in the garage and I read it to him. His reply to me was "all BLOODY hospitals are the same!" - he's seen this happen to me so often that it's no longer funny.

I am so glad that your best friend was there for you.

I'd like to shoot those dispicable doctors thru the head - or hang them on the highest tree I can find! How dare they treat you in such a displicable way! It's disgusting! My father has a good solution for rapist which I'd like to apply to these insensitive creeps - tie them up naked in a pen with very hungry calfs! See how they like excusiating pain for once!

Gosh, I feel so angry on your behalf!

All I can suggest is what I've been doing the last week - as I was about as bad as you are now - I'm taking my morphine every 4 hours - using codeine phos when I have break thru pain. I'm eating little, but often. Make yourself some things you really enjoy - but doesn't take up to much effort. Slouch in front of the telly, or lie in bed with a good book and try to take your mind of the pain for a bit and if you can watch something funny which makes you laugh it will help you release some endorphins - and makes you feel a bit better. Listen to your favourite music - it really cheers me up - have a good cry when you need to - I did that after Jo suggested that I do that - and it helped. Use a hot water bottle on your sore tummy - or a wheat pack - it gives me a lot of comfort. Massage your stomach - going in a clockwise direction - I start at the bottom on the right hand side and work my way up and then down again. Just take it very easy and don't do anything too strenuous. Talk to your friends. Do lots of relaxing - I know it's difficult when you're in so much pain - but if you get too stressed and upset it will make your pain worse.

I hope you feel a bit better soon.

Hugs and kisses,
